Lyssa is a respected author, coaching educator, and "recovering therapist." Lyssa is the host of the Coaching Studio Podcast, where she engages in thought-provoking conversations with thought leaders in coaching and psychology professions.
With a background in Social Work, Supervision, and Neuroscience, Lyssa is passionate about helping professional coaches refine their mastery of the ICF Core Competencies, deep listening skills, and client-led approaches—all with the goal of fostering transformative client partnerships. As a Certified Mentor Coach, Coaching Supervision Partner, and PCC Assessor, she integrates neuroscience and the ICF Core Competencies to elevate the impact of coaching.
In 2018, Lyssa created the Power of Metaphor Certification Program, empowering coaches to recognize and harness clients' metaphors to build stronger agreements and foster embodied awareness.
In June 2022, she developed the Credentialing Lab for the Updated Credentialing Exam PREP, and in 2024, she expanded her offerings with the ACC Credentialing Exam PREP, helping over 7,500 coaches prepare for ICF exams at the ACC and PCC/MCC levels.
She also mentors ACC, PCC, and MCC coaches as they develop the skills required to coach at their next level, or continue to develop as thought partners.
Beyond her work in coach education, Lyssa has collaborated with leaders across diverse industries—including the military, technology, insurance, finance, healthcare, and small businesses—as a Leadership and Confidence Coach.
